About the role
Our company is seeking an experienced Event Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of high-profile events in the heart of Downtown Core Central Region.As a key member of our events team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery of memorable experiences for our clients.
What you'll be doing- Manage all logistical aspects of event planning and delivery, including venue selection, vendor coordination, on-site operations, and post-event analysis
- Develop and implement detailed event plans, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with client requirements
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and timely problem-solving
- Source for venues, manage events requirements and negotiate costs and deliverables with venue owners for events
- Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality standards
- Supervise and coordinate the event operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow
- Continually seek opportunities to enhance event processes and implement innovative solutions
- Minimum 5 years of experience in event operations management, preferably within the hospitality or corporate B2B events industry
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing high-profile, complex events from concept to completion
- Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, suppliers, and team members
- Proficient in using event management software and digital tools to streamline operations
