Financial Analyst (US Tech MNC/ UP 7.2k)

• We are partnering with our client, a global organization, to hire a Financial Analyst based in Singapore.
• This role sits within the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team, supporting financial reporting, data analytics, forecasting, and dashboard automation. You will work closely with Finance, Accounting, and cross-functional business teams to deliver actionable insights, improve financial processes, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
• This position requires strong analytical capability, financial systems knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
• This role will start off as a 6 months contract role; candidates who are immediately available or able to start work within short notice will be preferred.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or finance operations roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience with financial modeling, forecasting, and performance metrics
• Proficiency in data tools and financial systems (e.g., SQL, Oracle, SAP, Anaplan or similar enterprise platforms)
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong stakeholder management ability
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working in a multinational or complex organization is an advantage

Job Description

As a Financial Analyst within the FP&A function, you will support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities that enable business decision-making and operational excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data, deliver insights, and improve processes across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support FP&A activities including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain financial models tracking direct and allocated costs, planning, and forecasting
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and financial analysis to support business decision-making
• Analyze financial and operational datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Assist in presenting financial insights to product areas, markets, or business units
• Support data preparation, database maintenance, and dashboard automation activities
• Identify and escalate financial risks and issues where appropriate
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance and business teams to improve reporting and analytics processes
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and support change management efforts
• Maintain project documentation, track deliverables, and ensure timely completion of tasks
• Participate in team and organizational initiatives such as recruitment support or community activities
