Senior Associate/ Assistant Manager, Procurement (3-Year Contract)

About the Role
You will be part of the Procurement team supporting various business divisions. This role goes beyond transactional procurement — approximately 50% of the scope involves advisory work, where you will partner closely with stakeholders to ensure procurement activities are conducted in a fair, transparent, and compliant manner.
Key Responsibilities- Partner business stakeholders across divisions to support end-to-end procurement activities, from sourcing to payment
- Provide advisory and guidance on procurement policies, processes, and best practices
- Manage tendering and contracting functions, including preparation and publication of tender documents, evaluation, and award processes
- Review procurement submissions critically to ensure compliance, fairness, and transparency
- Engage stakeholders to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions, and identify potential risks or gaps in procurement approaches
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs), manage contracts, and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Support vendor onboarding onto the eProcurement system
- Track procurement performance metrics and present insights to Management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process streamlining and automation using low-code tools (e.g. Power Automate)
- Degree in Accountancy, Business, or related disciplines
- Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement experience, with exposure to compliance/governance
- Experience in a supervisory or stakeholder-facing role is advantageous
- Strong understanding of procurement processes; basic accounting knowledge is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and influence diverse stakeholders
- Strong analytical thinking with good judgement and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a high level of integrity
- Comfortable working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g. SAP, SESAMi, or other eProcurement platforms)
- Experience with low-code tools (e.g. Power Automate, Power Apps) or BI dashboards will be an added advantage
- Exposure to large-scale, high-value procurement projects
