Debt Capital Markets, Origination (up to $8k) (ID:678166) - Geylang

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with local clients and internal stakeholders
• Lead the origination, structuring, and execution of bond offerings, including preparation of marketing materials, documentation, due diligence, and transaction execution
• Actively participate in client pitching and business development across Southeast Asia and Greater China
• Provide timely and insightful advice on market conditions and the debt issuance process
• Collaborate with other bank branches, subsidiaries, and departments—locally and globally—to drive Debt Capital Markets (DCM) and related business growth
• Work closely with relationship managers to support internal credit approval processes
• Undertake additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Department or company management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above from a recognized institution, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-4 years or more work experience in financial institutions (preferred)
• Strong interest in capital markets and a collaborative team player
• Ability and dedication to meet strict deadlines
• Prior experiences as Debt Capital Markets Originator or Relationship Manager (FI), or Corporations Banking RM will be a plus
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and interpersonal abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg Terminal
