Job Summary

The Manager/Senior Manager (HR Management and Policy) is responsible for developing and communicating HR policies, as well as overseeing recruitment and compensation and benefit matters.

The incumbent is expected to work between 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays and may be required to work over weekends and public holidays to support organisation events. Although he/she is largely expected to work in an indoor environment, he/she is also expected to travel out of office for meetings.

Key Responsibility Area

HR Policy
  1. Develop and review HR SOPs and guidelines.
  2. Develop and review compensation and benefits frameworks.
  3. Ensure HR practices comply with regulatory laws, audit requirements, and sector standards.
  4. Ensure HR policies are communicated and understood across the organisation.
  5. Manage policy exceptions and escalation processes to ensure fair and consistent decisions.
HR Management
  1. Oversee recruitment, contract renewals, resignations.
  2. Oversee compensation and benefit matters.
Other Duties
  1. Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by the HOD or Senior Management.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, with demonstrated leadership and strategic HR exposure.
  2. Strong knowledge of HR policies, employment legislation, and governance frameworks.
  3. Strong ability with data analytics and tools e.g. Excel, PowerBI.
  4. Strong communication skills.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  6. Adaptable, resilient, and able to lead change in a dynamic environment.
  7. Good track record in stakeholder/partnership engagement and management
  8. Experience in the community or public sector is an advantage.
  9. IHRP or SHRM certification is an advantage.
