Relationship Manager, Corporate Coverage (Manager)

Location: Singapore | Salary: Up to SGD 10,000 per month | Reports To: Team Lead

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Relationship Manager with a strong “hunter” mindset to build and grow new Chinese corporate relationships across Singapore and the ASEAN region. If you excel at bringing in new business and delivering tailored corporate banking solutions, we would like to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management: Develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with Chinese corporate clients operating in Singapore and ASEAN.
New Business Development: Identify, approach, and onboard new clients from China seeking to expand into Southeast Asia. Collaborate closely with product teams to deliver comprehensive corporate banking solutions (loans, trade finance, treasury, cash management, DCM, etc.).
Cross-Border Coordination: Work closely with China-based coverage teams and overseas branches to ensure seamless cross-border banking support.
Credit and Risk Management: Prepare high-quality credit applications, conduct regular credit reviews, and monitor clients’ financial performance in partnership with the Credit Risk team.
Product Structuring: Partner with internal stakeholders to design suitable financial solutions that meet clients’ strategic and financing needs.
Market Awareness: Stay updated on regulatory, political, and macroeconomic developments in China and ASEAN to better support client growth and risk management.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related discipline.
Minimum 8 years of corporate banking or relationship management experience, ideally with a focus on Greater China clients.
Strong track record in new client acquisition, credit analysis, and cross-border collaboration.
Familiarity with ASEAN markets is an advantage.
