IT Manager - Bukit Merah
The Company
Our client is a well-established financial services firm with a strong presence in APAC. Known for its commitment to innovation, regulatory excellence, and customer-centric solutions, the company provides a range of financial products and services across institutional and retail segments.As they continue to expand and modernize their technology landscape, they are seeking a skilled IT Manager to join their team and lead key initiatives in IT infrastructure, systems integration, and digital transformation.
The Role- Oversee and manage all IT operations, including infrastructure, network, systems, and application support.
- Lead the implementation, upgrade, and integration of business systems (e.g., trading platforms, core banking systems, CRM, ERP)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand operational needs and recommend suitable technology solutions
- Manage IT budgets, vendor contracts, and third-party service providers
- Lead incident response and business continuity planning
- Implement IT governance policies and best practices
- Drive automation and digitalization initiatives to increase operational efficiency
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computing, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10 to 15 years of IT experience, including strong hands-on exposure to infrastructure, applications, cloud, and security
- Proven experience in IT operations, vendor management, and regional user support
- Prior experience with financial services, private equity, asset management, or investment environments preferred
- Familiarity with finance or accounting systems is a strong advantage
- Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a lean and growing team
- Regional experience (e.g., Hong Kong, Vietnam, Japan) is beneficial but not mandatory
