Sales Manager
The primary objective of this position is to establish and drive a strong direct sales function for Tecan’s liquid handling and detection solutions in Singapore, a market previously served exclusively through distributors. This role is responsible for building and managing a robust direct sales pipeline, while also overseeing and optimizing distributor relationships to maximize market reach and customer satisfaction.
The role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial individual who can identify and develop new business opportunities, consult with customers to deliver tailored solutions, and provide outstanding support to both new and existing clients. The Sales Manager will also play a key role in building, supervising, and developing the sales team as it expands, providing training and coaching in project management, system design, and sales proposals, in close collaboration with management, service, and automation teams.
It is essential that the Sales Manager has strong application expertise and can effectively communicate with clients in the pharmaceutical industry.
Collaboration with management, service, and application team is essential to maintain and expand sales opportunities. The position serves as the primary liaison between Tecan and customers in the assigned territory, tracking orders and sales performance, and ensuring all activities comply with Tecan’s policies and standards.
