Business Development Manager (Industrial sector)

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead our growth initiatives in Singapore and targeted regional markets. In this leadership role, you will be instrumental in identifying and acquiring high-potential industrial customers, particularly within the electronics, semiconductors, and electroplating sectors.
The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial acumen with proven leadership skills to develop a high-performing sales team and secure commercially profitable deals.
Key Responsibilities- Identify, prioritize, and systematically develop high-potential industries and key customer accounts across Singapore and other targeted regional markets.
- Focus strategically on penetrating key industrial sectors, particularly electronics, semiconductors, electroplating, and related manufacturing industries.
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and the successful closure of commercially profitable deals.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales or business development team, setting clear targets and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and success.
- Build and maintain robust, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive sustained business growth.
- Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and operations, to ensure the successful delivery of tailored solutions to industrial clients.
- Prepare and present accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and strategic business plans to senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is highly preferred.
- Extensive experience in B2B sales and business development, specifically targeting industrial sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring industrial customers and consistently closing commercially profitable deals.
- Deep understanding of the electronics, semiconductors, electroplating, or related industrial sectors in Singapore and regional markets.
- Demonstrated experience in leading, mentoring, and developing a successful sales or business development team.
- Exceptional negotiation, strategic planning, and relationship-building skills.
- Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, competitive business environment.
