Resident Technical Officer(RTO) - C&S - 12 Hrs Shift - Bukit Batok - ref. y00962019

Job Responsibilities:

• Take and carry out instructions from the Superintending Officer
• Supervise and ensure the instructions from the Superintending Officer
• Supervise the execution of the works and maintain quality control and ensure that the works are carried out in accordance with the Contract Specifications, Drawings
• Assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or SRE/RE in all aspects relating to the construction of the Project
• Attend all site progress, variation, co-ordination and design/technical meetings as required and to keep proper minutes of these meetings, relating to the Project and other duties
• Liaise and co-ordinate with Public Authorities/Statutory Boards/stakeholders and other Consultants employed by Client.
• Assist to resolve all site issues, including coordination with adjacent/ nearby construction sites and report to the supervising Qualified Persons
• Assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or SRE/RE in the review of Contractor’s proposed method statement and working procedure and to verify that they are properly executed on site.
• Assist the Superintending Officer, SO Rep and/or SRE/RE to verify all variations carried on site.
• Verify all reports and claims submitted by the Contractors.

Job Requirements:

• Minimally a Bachelor degree in civil engineering
• The candidate must be a registered Resident Technical Officer with BCA.
• Must have own transportation & able to work tuas and change reclamation projects
• At least three (5) years site supervisory experience in Goverment building projects
• Must be literate in English and have adequate knowledge to use computer, reply to emails, use computer software, e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel etc..
