Join our team as a MEP Site Engineer who will be responsible for providing on-site coordination, supervision, and technical support for the guestroom renovation project. The role is established to strengthen daily site supervision, enhance coordination among stakeholders, and ensure smooth execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works during the renovation period.Upon completion of the initial project phase, the engineer may transition into the hotel’s engineering team.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide daily on-site coordination and supervision of all MEP-related renovation works.
- Liaise closely with the consultant team, project office, contractors, and hotel representatives to ensure effective communication and issue resolution.
- Review and ensure all project-related MEP matters are properly addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitor site activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and agreed schedules.
- Identify potential issues or risks on-site and proactively propose corrective actions.
- Support daily renovation activities to ensure smooth progress and minimal disruption to hotel operations.
- Attend site meetings and provide updates on MEP progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and project requirements.
- Carry out any other duties related to the project as assigned by management.
What We Need From You
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services, or related engineering discipline. Prior experience in MEP works, preferably within renovation or construction projects.
Required Skills:
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on-site and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
