Assistant Finance Manager (Oil & Gas MNC)

Our client is a leading trading company in oil & gas industry. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting an Assistant Finance Manager to be part of their Finance Team. They are located in the Central - easily accessible.

Duties of Assistant Finance Manager:

• Review financial transactions, journals, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting, including month-end closing processes
• Review sales/purchases, AR/AP ageing, fixed assets, lease schedules, and MTM valuations
• Coordinate tax compliance across jurisdictions (e.g. VAT, corporate tax) with external advisors
• Manage transfer pricing and liaise with HQ on accounting and tax matters
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Review and guide Accounts Executives to ensure timely and accurate deliverables
• Support internal and external audits and ensure timely issue resolution
• Identify financial and compliance risks, and strengthen internal controls
• Drive process improvements and support system enhancement initiatives

Requirements:

• Degree in accounting field
• Min 5 years of accounting and tax experience in trading industry
• Experienced in handling multi entities
