Job Summary
The role focuses on supporting Calypso, managing incidents and user requests, ensuring smooth production operations, and driving continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will have strong Calypso expertise, a solid understanding of financial instruments, and proven experience in post-trade support within Capital Markets.
Mandatory Skill-set- Must have 7+ years hands-on experience with Calypso (Back Office), preferably on Calypso v16;
 - Must have in-depth knowledge of Calypso back-office functionalities, including Engines, Events, Filters, Reporting Framework, and Scheduled Tasks along with Proficiency in Messaging (Swift), Transfers, Settlement Delivery Instructions, Accounting, Pricers, Workflows, and Reconciliation is essential;
 - Must have Exposure with regulatory reporting such as MMSR) and Ability to write and maintain programmable code (Java or similar);
 - Experience in problem management and process improvements;
 
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation (night/weekend support).
 - Strong understanding of financial assets (FX, Money Market, Cash) and the trade lifecycle;
 - Experience mentoring junior team members.
 
- Provide Level 2 support for Calypso back-office users;
 - Investigate and resolve incidents promptly, acting as the main contact for user requests and escalating issues as needed;
 - Coordinate cross-team incidents and propose solutions, supervise batch processes, collaborate with build teams on fixes, maintain knowledge bases, conduct training, and mentor junior team members;
 - Implement application monitoring for proactive issue detection, generate operational and data quality reports, and automate manual processes to enhance efficiency;
 - Perform release testing, validation, and production deployment;
 - Analyze application performance and propose optimizations;
 - Participate in weekend production releases on a rotational basis;
 - Write and maintain application code as per technical specifications.
