Procurement manager (power / energy) - Bukit Merah

Our client is a renowned multinational energy technology firm driving decarbonisation efforts across Asia through advanced power generation solutions. With a strong focus on innovation, they provide engineering-driven products and services in thermal, renewable, and emerging energy sources.

We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to lead a small team and drive procurement excellence across regional project activities, vendor management, and process improvement initiatives.

• Lead procurement planning and execution for large-scale engineering projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and compliance with internal governance.
• Manage end-to-end purchasing activities such as vendor identification, negotiation, PO issuance, and tracking of key project materials and services.
• Serve as a primary contact for internal teams and external vendors, coordinating closely on project requirements, specifications, and scheduling.
• Identify and implement improvements to procurement workflows, systems, and vendor networks, particularly in Singapore and Malaysia.
• Supervise and support a team of two, providing mentorship while monitoring procurement risks and driving process optimisation across the region.

• At least 1 year of experience managing or mentoring a small team.
• Background in industries such as power generation, energy, oil & gas, or petrochemicals.
• Comfortable with occasional short-term regional travel for supplier or project coordination.
