About the role

At Galaxy Studio Interior Pte. Ltd.', we are seeking an experienced Interior Designer Drafter to join our talented team. As an Interior Designer Drafter, you will play a crucial role in transforming residential and commercial spaces, bringing our clients' visions to life through detailed CAD drawings and technical specifications.

This is a full-time position based in the Woodlands North Region.

What you'll be doing

Collaborate with senior interior designers to develop detailed CAD drawings, floor plans, and technical specifications for a range of interior design projects
Translate design concepts into practical, buildable solutions that meet the needs of our clients
Ensure all drawings and documentation adhere to relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and ensure the successful implementation of design plans
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design processes and documentation

What we're looking for

A degree or diploma in Interior Design or a related field
Minimum 2-3 years of experience as an Interior Designer Drafter or similar role (Construction)
Proficient in the use of CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp ,Coohom) and other design tools
Strong technical drawing and documentation skills, with an eye for detail
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and the design team
A creative mindset and the ability to translate design concepts into practical solutions
Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
