ACMV / Facilities Services Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a hands-on and reliable ACMV / Facilities Services Technician to support the maintenance and servicing of air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems. The technician will be responsible for carrying out preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works for ACMV equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, chilled water systems, and ventilation systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for ACMV systems including AHUs, FCUs, split units, chilled water systems, pumps, and ventilation equipment.
• Troubleshoot and rectify faults related to air-conditioning and ventilation systems.
• Carry out servicing, cleaning, chemical washing, filter replacement, and inspection of ACMV equipment.
• Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities or recurring issues.
• Attend to breakdowns and emergency maintenance works promptly.
• Conduct routine checks on temperature, pressure, and system operations to ensure optimal performance.
• Support testing and commissioning activities when required.
• Coordinate with supervisors, contractors, and vendors during servicing and repair works.
• Maintain proper service reports, maintenance records, and checklists.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and company SOPs.
• Maintain good housekeeping of plant rooms, workshops, and work areas.

• NITEC / Higher NITEC / ITE Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, ACMV, or related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in ACMV or facilities maintenance.
• Familiar with AHU, FCU, chilled water systems, cooling towers, and ventilation systems.
• Basic troubleshooting knowledge of HVAC electrical controls and mechanical systems.
• Able to use maintenance tools and equipment safely.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work overtime, standby, or shift duties when required.
