Housekeeping Supervisor

As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you will support the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations and leading a team of Room Attendants. You will play a key role in ensuring cleanliness standards, efficient scheduling, and consistent service quality across the hotel.

• Supervise and support a team of Room Attendants to deliver high cleanliness and presentation standards
• Plan, manage, and adjust staff shifts according to operational needs and occupancy levels
• Conduct daily room inspections and quality checks to ensure Mama Shelter brand standards are met
• Organise and conduct training for Room Attendants, focusing on quality control, SOPs, and service standards
• Coach and motivate team members, ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment
• Report maintenance issues and follow up on rectifications with relevant departments
• Assist with inventory control and proper use of housekeeping supplies and equipment
• Step in to support operations during peak periods or when required by the Housekeeping Manager

• Previous experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or Senior Room Attendant, preferably in a hotel environment
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills
• Microsoft Word & Excel required
• Good organisational and time‑management abilities
• Attention to detail with a strong commitment to cleanliness and quality
• Ability to train, coach, and lead by example
• A hands‑on, proactive attitude with a team‑first mindset
• Comfortable working shifts, including weekends and public holidays
