Key Responsibilities:
As a Assistant Service Engineer, you'll be a key player in their regional technical services team, keeping enterprise AV and UC systems running at their best across multiple sites in Singapore and beyond.- Be the face of exceptional client service — delivering concierge-level post-sales technical support
- Diagnose and resolve issues across AV and video conferencing systems, both remotely and onsite
- Execute planned preventive maintenance to ensure seamless system performance
- Handle firmware updates, configuration changes and system optimisation post-installation
- Collaborate with end users, vendors and principals to resolve issues within SLA timelines
- Produce clear service reports and technical documentation
- Support user training, system handovers and post-commissioning activities
- Escalate complex issues directly to manufacturers when needed
Key Requirements:
- NITEC / Diploma / Degree in AV, Electronics, IT, Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in AV operations or unified communications technical support
- Familiarity with leading AV/UC platforms — Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Crestron, Extron, Poly, Cisco, Logitech, Biamp or QSYS — is a strong advantage
- Working knowledge of AV & IT fundamentals: TCP/IP, Networking, Dante, AVB, H.264, HDCP, SDVoE
- Strong communication skills in English
- Bonus points if you have project management or service delivery experience
