APAC Safety Coordinator – Global Corporate Environment - Geylang

Working hours: Normal working hours (candidate needs to be flexible based on operational needs)

Job Descriptions:

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations in a variety of international regions regarding occupational health of our associates
• Develop, maintain, and support environmental, health, and safety programs, policies, and procedures with structured audits and consultation to ensure regulatory compliance and continuous improvement
• Provide leadership and direction to internal stakeholders and business associates to evaluate, identify, and reduce the risk of loss through the application of health, safety, and environmental principles and knowledge of laws and regulations
• Conduct or coordinate reviews of follow-up expectations and activities as appropriate; track corrective items on agreed-upon timelines to closure
• Guide prevention and risk reduction programs to improve safety and health programs
• Provide periodic communication to management on the direction and effectiveness of health and safety programs through operational metrics
• Benchmark other company health and safety practices, programs, and structures and review other available techniques and programs to ensure continuous improvement of health and safety programs
• Other ad hoc duties assigned

Requirement:

• 4–7 years of relevant safety experience in a regional or multi-country capacity
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations across APAC
• Able to work independently and take ownership of safety operations
• Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
• Proficient in handling audits, risk management, and emergency planning
• Familiarity with corporate/office-based environments, preferably in the tech or services sector
