Job Scope of a Service Engineer

Maintenance:

Performing routine maintenance procedures, inspecting automated storage system for problems, and ensuring automated storage systems are in good working order.

Repair:

Diagnosing and fixing malfunctions, replacing faulty components, and repairing damaged automated storage system.

Installation:

Setting up and configuring new equipment or systems, ensuring they are installed correctly, safely and accordingly.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying the root cause of technical problems, resolving issues, and preventing future incidents.

Technical Support:

Providing guidance to users on how to operate automated storage system, answering technical questions, and assisting with software or hardware issues.

Documentation:

Maintaining records of maintenance and repair work, updating documentation for automated storage system.

Qualification & Requirements

Higher Nitec, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or equipvalent.
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar role.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skill.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work safely.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Must process Class 3 Driving License.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
