- Aerospace Technician (Machining)
Job Responsibilities:
- Setup, operate and maintain all types of conventional or CNC machines such as Milling, Lathe, Surface Grinding, Shaping, Hobbing, broaching and conventional machines in the cell/process.
- Setup, operate and maintain all measuring equipment, gages and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks.
- Perform simple troubleshooting of machines.
- Able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Maintain pertinent records; Shop-paper and work in accordance to technical instructions and drawings.
- Work in an orderly manner and keeping work areas, benches and machinery in a tidy and clean condition after used.
- Notify the Supervisor timely for any machine or tooling problems which could jeopardize product quality or infringe safe work conditions.
- Engage in any other activities or responsibilities as requested by the Supervisor.
- Aerospace Technician (Welding)
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and weld aircraft engine's parts using TIG or Auto-TIG process.
- Perform in-process inspection of parts.
- Follow work instructions, comply with all quality requirements and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.
- Complete production paperwork and systems transactions.
- Aerospace Technician - Heat Treat Plasma Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect, plan, set up, mask, and perform thermal spray coating on aerospace components to meet production and engineering requirements.
- Perform masking and grit blasting to prepare aerospace components for thermal spray coating.
- Monitor spray parameters, adjusting flow rates and spray speeds using judgment and experience to ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards.
- Use various instruments to measure incoming and final coating thickness after plasma spray.
- Perform TPM check on machines.
- Operate multi-coat and 9MC plasma systems to apply Plasma, HVOF, Flame, and TAFA coatings on aviation components, troubleshoot equipment and replace spray gun parts as needed to maintain optimal performance.
- Learn and operate other shared services operation such as water jet, shot peen and glass bead peening operation.
- Update plasma logbook and prepare lab coupon submission form.
- Follow all work instructions, safety protocols, and quality regulations specific to the aerospace industry.
- Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area.
- Complete production paperwork and systems transactions.
- Operate stackers to safely transport heat treat fixtures, chemical containers, waste IBC tanks, coolant/oil drums, and blasting media on pallets within the facility.
- Aerospace Technician - Chemical Clean Technician
Job Responsibilities:
- Inspect, plan, and prepare aerospace components for surface treatment and coating processes.
- Apply masking and perform grit blasting to ensure components are properly prepped for thermal spray coatings.
- Operate thermal spray equipment to apply Plasma, HVOF, Flame, and TAFA coatings, adjusting parameters as needed to meet quality requirements.
- Measure coating thickness using precision instruments to ensure compliance with engineering and production specifications.
- Conduct TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) checks on machines and perform routine troubleshooting, including spray gun part replacement.
- Operate multi-coat and 9MC plasma systems for coating applications on aviation components.
- Learn and assist with additional shared services such as water jet cutting, shot peening, and glass bead peening operations.
- Accurately update plasma logbooks and prepare laboratory coupon submission forms for quality verification.
- Complete production paperwork and perform required data entry for tracking and traceability.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, work instructions, and quality regulations specific to the aerospace industry.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, following good housekeeping practices.
- Safely operate stackers and handling equipment to transport parts, chemicals, waste containers, and related materials within the facility.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience in an aerospace or manufacturing environment.
- Able to interpret engine manuals, drawings, illustrated parts manuals, operation sheets, complex blueprints and other technical data requirements.
- Strong attention to details, and ability to multitask and good communications skills.
- Able to commit rotating shifts.
