Job Summary: Lead regional sales operations across Asia Pacific, driving growth through strategic planning and team leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the regional sales team to achieve revenue and profitability targets aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans for distributor management, key account growth, and market expansion across Asia Pacific.
  • Drive performance of Business Development Managers and Account Managers through coaching, mentoring, and regular reviews.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Define sales targets, track KPIs, and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with product management, marketing, and technical support teams to deliver integrated customer solutions.
  • Prepare regional business reviews and strategic plans for management presentations.
  • Lead negotiations on major contracts and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, processes, and ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10–15 years of progressive sales experience in industrial automation, factory automation, or electronic components industries.
  • Proven experience selling electronic components and automation solutions to distributors, system integrators, or machine builders.
  • Strong track record in leading and managing sales teams or regional operations.
  • Expertise in channel/distributor management and key account development.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, leadership, and people management skills.
  • Strong commercial acumen with ability to analyze data and drive business results.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrix and multicultural environment.
  • Own personal vehicle required to attend site meetings is an added advantage.
  • Experience managing multi-country teams across Asia Pacific is an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in competitor companies within the automation or component industry is an added advantage.
