Deputy Director, Partnerships – Shape the Future of Motoring

You will lead strategic partnerships to build innovative capabilities like real-time billing, personalised dashboards, and intuitive user flows.

• What You’ll Do
• Shape Partnership Vision: Define a strategy to build synergies with vendors and industry partners, nurturing a portfolio of partnerships that align with digital transformation goals
• Secure High-Impact Partnerships: Identify, assess, and prioritise opportunities, spearheading negotiations and structuring commercial agreements with key sector players
• Own the Change: Provide change management leadership, ensuring partners and end-users adopt new systems confidently
• Relationship Management: Serve as the senior liaison to strategic partners, maintaining trust, alignment, and executive sponsorship
• Influencing for Success: Work with industry and government stakeholders to advance digital motoring initiatives, influencing policy and technology directions
• Foster & Lead a High-Performing Team: Build and develop a partnerships and change management team, instilling excellence, strategic thinking, and execution rigor
• What We’re Looking For
• 12+ years in strategic partnerships or business development within automotive, mobility, or related digital industries, with 5+ years in a leadership role
• Proven success in leading and scaling high-performing teams, fostering talent, and driving execution excellence
• Extensive network of senior leaders and decision-makers, with a track record of leveraging relationships for large-scale partnerships
• Strong commercial acumen in contract negotiation, deal structuring, and managing multi-million-dollar agreements
• Highly influential and articulate, able to engage senior government officials, industry leaders, and executives with clarity and authority
• Skilled at navigating cross-sector dynamics, aligning diverse stakeholders, and managing complex partnership portfolios
• Experience in change management, engaging teams across different levels to build awareness and drive adoption
• Familiarity with legal principles in contract law, government approval frameworks, and public-private partnership mechanisms is a plus
