Investment Administrator (Private equity Buyside, Japanese speaking)

Our client is looking for a highly motivated Investment Administrator to support their investment operations. This is a junior-level role suited for candidates with an accounting qualification, knowledge of investments.

Job responsibilities:

Assist in managing investment administration processes, including fund operations, reporting, and compliance.
Support financial reporting, accounting, and reconciliation related to investments.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators.
Monitor and track portfolio investments, capital calls, and distributions.
Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance requirements.
Assist in preparing investment reports and presentations.
Work closely with internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth investment operations.

Job requirements:

Fluency in Japanese (spoken and written) is preferred as joining online meetings with the Japanese HQ is required (JLPT N3 Level)
An accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA) is preferred
Knowledge of investments and financial reporting
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Background from the Big 4, fund administration houses, PE/VC firms is preferred
