Equipment & Service Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and experienced equipment engineer to join our team! As an equipment engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, trainings and help distributors, customers by responding to their service or related needs in a timely and efficient manner.

Main role functions:

• Coordinating the equipment servicing & warranty claims for welding equipment.
• Conducting equipment’s service training, product application training and presentations for distributors & key customers.
• Focus on welding automation, with expertise in integrating welding equipment with industrial robots and cobot.
• Act as primary contact for equipment performance & liaise with overseas principal’s factories & distributors/key customers regularly.
• To visit end users for conducting discovery work, service trainings, demo & troubleshooting for the products.
• Partner with Sales & Marketing departments to support voice of customers activities, understanding needs and making product value propositions.
• Stay involved in Welding Technical Centre’s day to day activities like welding procedure development, productivity/quality comparison analysis, and new product developments.
• Coordinate with sales team to improve effectiveness of after-sales support services including distributors services for better end user experience.

Requirements:

• Diploma or bachelor’s engineering degree and a minimum 3 years of experience in electrical or welding field.
• Excellent understanding of solid-state component’s functioning & testing and well versed in reading electrical circuit diagrams. Having experience in welding automation is a plus point.
• Highly motivated and result-oriented with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Well-organized, with a high attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is a plus point as Indonesia is one of our key markets.
• Up to 30% travel required around SEA countries.
