About the role:
Our client seeking for a hands-on Facility Maintenance Specialist to ensure the reliability, safety, and efficiency of the facility, equipment, and fleet. This role is critical in supporting daily operations, driving preventive maintenance programs, and minimising downtime across the plant.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day facility maintenance operations
- Lead and implement preventive maintenance programs, including planning and scheduling
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical/electrical issues; support production during equipment breakdowns
- Manage repair works, upgrades, and minor construction projects
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors (landscaping, cleaning, etc.)
- Maintain facility systems including fire protection and security
- Ensure company vehicles meet compliance requirements
- Monitor spare parts inventory and procure necessary materials
- Interpret technical drawings and facility layouts
- Uphold safety standards, 5S practices, and operational efficiency targets
- Prepare maintenance reports and support departmental documentation
Requirements:
- Diploma or equivalent in Engineering or related field
- 2–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must have Work-at-Height certification
- Strong hands-on mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders
- Experience coordinating contractors/vendors is an advantage
