What you'll do:
As a Digital Assets Operations Manager based in Singapore, you will take responsibility for overseeing the Transactions Operations team while ensuring seamless delivery of digital asset services. Your day-to-day activities will involve supervising staff performance, providing guidance on complex transactions across various blockchains, and ensuring adherence to both internal standards and external regulations.You will be instrumental in managing client onboarding processes, monitoring daily controls, producing management information reports, and resolving operational exceptions promptly. Your ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders will be crucial as you coordinate with other teams globally.
Additionally, you will play an active role in reviewing existing processes for potential improvements—proposing new controls or system enhancements where necessary—and supporting the implementation of new products or regulatory changes. By fostering a culture of continuous learning within your team and staying attuned to industry developments, you will help maintain high standards of service delivery while contributing directly to the organisation’s strategic objectives.
- Supervise the Singapore-based Transactions Operations team, ensuring comprehensive coverage and continuous training so that all service level agreements are consistently met.
- Provide expert support for transaction and staking operations across multiple blockchain protocols, acting as a subject matter expert when required by colleagues or clients.
- Ensure full compliance with local regulatory obligations such as the Travel Rule, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Conduct thorough reviews of new coins and staking products to ensure they meet client requirements while adhering to internal governance standards.
- Manage queries and resolve issues efficiently by escalating matters to Operations Management, Compliance, or IT as appropriate to guarantee timely solutions.
- Process and monitor all client requests with meticulous attention to exception handling so that outstanding items are resolved daily and escalated when necessary.
- Maintain deep product and process knowledge to provide effective support for all operational activities within the team.
- Stay informed about changes in the digital asset landscape, including new regulations and emerging products, proactively adapting processes as needed.
- Support documentation efforts by creating and updating policies and procedures relevant to operational workflows.
- Review current processes regularly to identify control weaknesses or inefficiencies, recommending remediation steps and proposing systematic enhancements.

- A degree in a statistical or analytical discipline such as sciences, engineering, business or economics with demonstrable expertise in statistical analysis, risk assessment, or workflow design.
- Genuine interest in fintech or digital assets demonstrated through previous experience or personal development initiatives.
- Commercial awareness with an understanding of economic trends affecting financial services businesses.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills enabling you to convey complex information concisely and persuasively to diverse audiences.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills—particularly Excel—are desirable for data analysis and reporting tasks.
- At least two years’ experience within financial services operations such as banking, trust or fund services, transaction processing, custody support, clearing/settlements, client onboarding or middle office functions.
- Proven ability to manage teams effectively by providing training support and ensuring consistent achievement of operational targets.
- Experience handling regulatory compliance matters within financial services environments is highly valued.
- Strong problem-solving abilities combined with sensitivity towards client needs and organisational priorities.
- Capacity for process review and improvement through identification of control weaknesses or inefficiencies.
