Assistant Engineer / Junior Engineer (R&D / NPI Support)

We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Engineer / Junior Engineer to support R&D and NPI activities for precision semiconductor equipment.

This role is suitable for candidates who enjoy hands-on testing, debugging, and system integration, with application-level exposure to motion and vision systems, without requiring full design ownership.

• Support R&D and NPI activities, including prototype builds and system bring-up
• Assist in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of precision equipment
• Support motion and vision application setup, tuning, and verification
• Perform functional testing and basic data collection
• Assist engineers in root cause analysis and corrective actions
• Support transition from prototype to production during NPI phase
• Provide site support for installation, testing, or troubleshooting when required
• Work closely with engineering, production, and technicians

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Electrical / Automation / Manufacturing Engineering or related field
• Exposure to motion control and vision systems at application level
• Comfortable working with motors, stages, sensors, cameras, and lighting
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings or basic schematics
• Willing to take on hands-on, multi-functional engineering tasks
• Practical mindset with good troubleshooting skills

• Experience in semiconductor equipment, precision machinery, or automation systems
• Exposure to NPI, prototype builds, or pilot runs
• Willingness to travel for site support when required
