About the role
Boon Poh Refuse Disposal Pte. Ltd. is seeking a full-time Recycling / Waste truck driver to join our team in the Tai Seng North-East Region. As a truck driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of recyclable materials and waste from collection points to processing facilities.
What you'll be doing- Operate a waste or recycling collection truck to collect and transport materials from designated pickup locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and disposal protocols are followed
- Maintain accurate records of collection routes and other relevant data
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Assist with general maintenance and cleaning of the vehicle as needed
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Experience operating heavy-duty trucks or similar commercial vehicles
- Knowledge of transportation regulations and waste management best practices
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labour tasks
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a team environment
