As part of the Digital Industry and Talent Group in IMDA, the Human Capital Cluster (HCC) division seeks to strategise and develop talent attraction initiatives to help Singapore position itself to capture opportunities in the digital economy.
You will lead a team within the HCC's Talent Development division to manage programmes that identify and groom a pipeline of talent to drive the Digital Economy and be the next generation of leaders in the infocomm media (ICM) sector. Additionally, you will be the Talent Partner to enhance partnerships between HCC and industry partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of talent sourcing platforms and the ability to identify top-tier talent for leadership development.
As an Assistant Director, you will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team, fostering collaboration across various teams, and ensuring that key programmes and process improvements are executed efficiently. You will also play a critical role in building and managing partnerships to support the organisation's objectives, while creating hands-on, practical learning opportunities to prepare students for employment and address industry manpower needs.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management- Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of key leadership programmes under the SG Digital Leadership Accelerator, such as the SG Digital Leaders, to grow a pipeline of Singaporean C-suite leaders in the tech and media ecosystem.
- Oversee other programmes/projects which involve the end-to-end management of student engagement activities, including internships, capstone projects, hackathons, workshops, and guest speaker sessions.
- Identify industry partnership opportunities and develop engagement strategies to secure buy-ins to drive business success, including the signing of Memorandum of Intent with companies for the training and development of young talent.
- Act as a primary liaison between industry stakeholders and academic institutions, maintaining positive relationships with key partners.
- Be the talent partner for industry to provide companies access to top talent, including those on the SG Digital Scholarship, and curate meaningful, practical experiences for employment and internship opportunities, including overseas exposure in key tech hubs like Silicon Valley.
- Talent spot top-tier talent for leadership development.
- Facilitate recruitment fairs, industry-specific hiring events, and other structured talent-matching activities.
- Oversee the analysis of data and current business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas of improvement.
- Design and implement optimised workflows, leveraging automation and technology, including HR Tech platforms.
