Our client is seeking a Compliance Officer cum Director (part-time) to join their team!

Join our client's team as a Compliance Officer cum Director and play a crucial role in ensuring regulatory compliance and risk management. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of the company while working closely with key stakeholders.

What you'll be doing?

Complete License Application: Develop project plans for license applications and conduct preliminary research.
Review Key Documents: Examine critical application documents and policy frameworks prepared by intermediaries and compliance officers.
Ensure Resource Planning: Ensure that company resources are aligned to support compliance operations post-licensing.
Guide Application Process: Regularly meet with intermediary teams and internal compliance teams to review progress and address key issues.
Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer direction on critical decisions such as policy selection and responses to MAS inquiries.
Represent Company Communication: Act as the company's designated representative in official communications with MAS, including interviews and meetings.
Adhere to Compliance Duties: Maintain compliance with MAS standards for 'Fit and Proper' personnel and uphold the integrity and diligence expected of a director.

Who are they looking for?

Educational Background: A degree is required to ensure a solid foundation in financial and regulatory knowledge.
Experience Level: Minimum of 3 years of compliance experience in third party payment system or financial services
