We're partnering a leading digital agency at the forefront of digital economy transformation, and looking looking for a Senior Manager to lead their Research and Innovation efforts in frontier technologies. You'll work across research communities, government, and industry - connecting the dots between emerging science and national strategic priorities.

Responsibilities

Develop research-to-business strategies in Future Communications, Frontier Technologies, and cross-domain research; align them to national strategic interests
Prepare and manage research funding initiatives - from proposal through to programme delivery and outcomes tracking
Build and lead collaborations with universities and research institutes, and translate findings into viable business opportunities
Monitor global technology shifts and advise senior leadership
Make timely recommendations to drive policy, capture new value, and pre-empt risk

Requirements

10+ years of relevant experience in tech research and innovation; Degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field
Familiar with the research ecosystem and comfortable shaping research-to-business strategies in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
Strategic thinker and strong collaborator across local and international partners
