Logistics Manager - FMCG (Ref: 37560)

Salary: S$6,000

Our client, a Japanese importer of foodstuffs, supplies a wide range of products to retailers and restaurants across Singapore. They are currently looking for a Logistics Manager.

【 Responsibilities 】

Oversees strategic planning, budget management, and team supervision
Overseeing receiving, warehousing and distribution operations
Operations Management: Plan, manage, and evaluate daily logistics operations, including inbound/outbound transportation and fleet management
Cost Control & Strategy: Negotiate rates with carriers and providers to minimize transportation costs and improve financial performance
Inventory & Warehouse Control: Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage stock levels, warehouse layout, and inventory accuracy to optimize fulfillment
Performance Metrics (KPIs): Monitor key metrics such as On-Time In-Full (OTIF)
Compliance & Risk: Ensure compliance with safety protocols (OSHA)
Process Improvement: Implement Lean principles and technology solutions to maximize supply chain efficiency
Others: Act as a safety member for the Company
Assisting with deliveries where require
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)

At least 3–5 years of proven experience in logistics, wholesale distribution, retail supply chain, or warehouse management
Experience managing approximately 20 to 35 employees
Strong proficiency in logistics and warehouse management software (WMS/TMS) and inventory tracking tools
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills, with an ability to adapt quickly to market disruptions
Available to work extended hours

(Advantageous)

Ability to operate a forklift
Valid driver’s license
