R&D Engineer (Electronics) - Woodlands

Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate and motivated R&D Engineer (Electronics) to join our team at our Singapore Headquarters. In this role, you will be involved in the research, design, and development of electronic components and systems that support our global manufacturing and product development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop electronic circuits, systems, and components for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, software engineering, and manufacturing.
• Evaluate and recommend components, materials, and processes to meet technical and commercial requirements.
• Conduct design verification tests, failure analysis, and support product validation activities.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation including schematics, BOM, and design reports.
• Provide engineering support for product launches and lifecycle management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 2-3 years of relevant R&D experience in electronics design and development (fresh graduates with strong academic achievements will be considered).
• Proficient in electronic design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital circuit design, EMC considerations, and testing methodologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in PCB design and layout.
• Exposure to product certification standards (e.g., UL, CE).
• Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.).
