Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor/Equipment/Abatement)

Core Scope:

Hands-on engineer supporting installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of industrial / semiconductor equipment at customer sites.

• Installation & Commissioning
• Install, relocate, and start-up equipment at customer sites
• Perform system testing, calibration, and handover
• Maintenance & Troubleshooting
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) and breakdown support
• Diagnose faults, repair systems, and replace components
• Escalate complex technical issues when required
• Engineering Changes & Upgrades
• Implement ECOs, modifications, and system upgrades
• Documentation
• Maintain service reports, logs, and parts usage records
• Customer Support
• Provide on-site technical support and maintain strong customer relationships
• Ensure minimal downtime and professional service delivery

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics
• ≥1 year in field service / equipment maintenance
• Semiconductor or industrial equipment experience preferred
• Strong hands-on troubleshooting & installation skills
• Good communication (customer-facing role)
• Problem-solving and adaptability
• Willing to travel
• Able to work independently
