We’re looking for a motivated and experienced Assistant Project Manager or Senior BMS Engineer to join our client’s team and drive the successful delivery of building automation projects. In this role, you will lead a team of engineers, provide expert technical guidance, and ensure smooth project execution from the validation phase through to implementation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring high-quality support across all project stages.
- Provide hands-on support in programming control devices and developing graphical user interfaces according to project specifications.
- Assist with system testing, commissioning, and final handover of building automation systems.
- Support the preparation and submission of Operation & Maintenance (O&M) documentation.
- Maintain up-to-date software versions, configurations, and ensure backups are properly stored on the office server.
- Identify opportunities to enhance team performance and process efficiency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Engineering Manager.
What We’re Looking For:
- Degree in Engineering, Building Automation or any related discipline.
- Min 5 years of relevant experience in building systems, HVAC controls, or energy management.
- Solid understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS), Chiller Plant systems, and control strategies.
- Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Function Block, Structured Text, or HTML5 is a plus.
- Familiarity with industry-standard communication protocols like BACnet, Modbus, or LONTalk.
- Strong problem-solving and customer relationship skills.
