Job Responsibilities:
HR Executive (WEST - Tuas)- Manage recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, and reference checks.
- Prepare employment contracts, onboarding kits, and conduct new hire orientation.
- Maintain accurate HR records, personnel files, and HRIS data.
- Administer payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, allowances), leave management, and employee benefits.
- Support employee engagement programs, welfare activities, and company events.
- Assist in performance management exercises and probation/confirmation tracking.
- Coordinate training programs, course registrations, and maintain training records.
- Handle employee queries on HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws (MOM, CPF, IRAS submissions).
- Generate HR reports, statistics, and dashboards for management decision-making
- Assist in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with organizational goals to drive employee engagement and performance.
- Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, and training & development.
- Review and enhance HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and best practices.
- Provide guidance to line managers on HR-related matters including grievance handling, disciplinary issues, and conflict resolution.
- Partner with department heads to forecast manpower needs and execute recruitment/retention plans effectively.
- Support employer branding, employee engagement, and well-being initiatives.
- Prepare HR metrics, dashboards, and reports to support data-driven decision making.
- Assist in union engagement and participate in discussions/negotiations where necessary.
- Stay updated on evolving HR trends and regulatory changes to continuously improve HR processes.
Job Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in HR roles; experience in an Assistant Manager role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Employment Act and HR best practices.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments.
- Proficient in MS Office and experience with HRIS/payroll systems.
