About the role
We are seeking a talented Tender Quantity Surveyor (remote working) to join our dynamic team at NC CONTRACTOR PTE. LTD . In this full-time remote role, you will play a crucial part in the tendering process, ensuring our bids are accurate, competitive, and aligned with industry standards.
What you'll be doing- Prepare detailed quantity estimates and bills of quantities for construction tenders
- Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other tender documentation to identify cost drivers and optimise pricing
- Collaborate with the project management team to review construction methods and materials, and recommend cost-effective solutions
- Conduct market research to stay informed of current industry trends, prices, and availability of resources
- Provide technical support and advice to the tender team throughout the bidding process
- Maintain a comprehensive database of past project costs and pricing information
- Assist in the preparation of tender submissions and presentations
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tender Quantity Surveyor, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with construction estimating software and digital takeoff tools
- Proven track record of successful tender submissions and cost management
