Position: Sales Engineer

Base location: Singapore

Role Overview—

Our Sales Engineer is a technically and commercially astute person to drive the growth of our integrated Natural Gas Systems in the Asia Pacific Region. Our Sales Engineer will be the technical authority, working directly with owners, engineering consultancies, EPC contractors, and OEM’s.

The role is to understand complex client requirements, design technically sound and compliant solutions, and articulate compelling value propositions that secure projects from feasibility study to contract award.

Requirements—
  • Qualifications / Education & Certificates:
  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Sales Engineer for Industrial Product and Solution business.
  • Prior Sales Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or Power Generations Industries is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills & Knowledge:
  • Proven Sales Track Record in Integrated Skid Systems for Power Plants, Natural Gas Equipment, Valve, Actuator, Flow Instrumentation & Pressure Vessels is advantageous.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Work Style:
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic, multicultural environment.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and results-driven.
  • Willing to travel as needed

Key Responsibilities—

Technical Solution Design & Pre-Sales
  • To work together with the Business Development Team to identify, qualify and pursue opportunities related to Onshore Natural Gas and Power Plant Applications such as Emergency Shutdown Systems, Pressure Reduction Systems, Filtration Systems, Customer Metering Systems, Pressure Vessel, Piping Fabrication, Life Cycle Services and others
  • To conduct detailed site surveys and technical consultations with clients to assess the requirements, constraints, regulatory requirements
  • To collaborate and develop with the Tender proposal team in preparing concise technical and commercial proposal for submissions
  • To prepare detailed cost estimations and technical commercial bid submissions for tenders
  • To interface with suppliers to obtain technical and commercial support
Project Handover & Client Support
  • Manage a smooth technical handover to the Project Engineering and Execution team upon contract award
  • Provide ongoing technical advisory support to key accounts, identifying opportunities for system upgrades or aftermarket services

Client Relationship Management:

  • To build and maintain client relationships for the long term
  • To Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities
  • Generate leads through industry events, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
  • Understand client needs, expectations, and project requirements.
  • Maintain regular communication to support project progression.
  • Generate leads through industry events, referrals, and inbound inquiries.
  • Promote company capabilities and project successes.
  • Participate in industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
  • Ensure project handover aligns with sales commitments.
  • Support client for repeat business and references.
