Job Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and lead programmes and activities, either one-to-one or on a group basis, depending on the preferences, needs and limitations of each client.
- Orientate new clients into the programmes and activities.
- Understand and able to apply the whole Person-Centred Care approach concept.
- Procure consumables as needed by day-to-day activity sessions.
- Monitor the supply and condition of equipment and activity props and supplies and assist to procure the items when needed.
- Carry out any other duties as and when assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess at least GCE "O" Levels or higher qualifications.
- Passionate about dementia care and working with people.
- Hands-on, with skills in baking, arts & crafts, flower arrangement, singing, dancing, etc.
- Gentle and patient.
- Proficient in PowerPoint.
- Able to work independently and as a responsible team player.
- Good oral and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
- Has prior working experience in dementia care.
