Senior Technical Business Analyst driving AI, data, cloud, and automation solutions, translating complex business needs into scalable, outcome-focused digital applications.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Technical Business Analyst with strong experience across application services, AI, data analytics, cloud platforms, and automation. This role focuses on driving practical, business-led digital solutions rather than theoretical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with business stakeholders to understand application workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities
Analyse existing systems to identify optimisation, automation, and AI enablement opportunities
Translate business requirements into clear functional and technical specifications
Collaborate with developers, architects, and delivery teams to shape and implement solutions

AI, Data & Analytics

Work hands-on with data to support analytics and AI-driven use cases
Contribute to predictive analytics, decision support, workflow optimisation, and Generative AI (e.g. RAG, summarisation)
Validate data and AI outputs to ensure accuracy, relevance, and explainability

Cloud, Automation & Integration

Support AWS-based applications and data platforms with hands-on involvement
Contribute to scalability, security, performance, and cost optimisation discussions
Design and build Power Automate flows across Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Apps, and data sources
Work with Node.js services for API integrations and backend workflow support

Delivery & Governance

Work closely with project managers and delivery teams across Agile and hybrid models
Support UAT planning, execution, and defect resolution
Perform impact analysis for system changes and enhancements
Ensure alignment with security, data governance, and compliance standards

Required Experience

5-8 years' experience in Business Analysis or similar technical roles
Strong background in application services, Power BI and platform-based solutions
Proven hands-on experience with AI, data, cloud, automation, and backend integration
Outcome-focused mindset with comfort in fast-paced delivery environments
