Job Scope
The Marketing Manager at Mr. Bucket Chocolaterie is responsible for leading the brand’s marketing vision, strategy, and execution across retail, e-commerce, and dining experiences. This role blends creative storytelling with data-driven performance, ensuring the brand grows its audience, drives sales, and delivers consistent, memorable customer experiences.
As Marketing Manager, you’ll lead our brand and growth efforts across all channels — building the bridge between creativity and performance.
You’ll design and manage the marketing calendar, ensuring our brand story unfolds meaningfully throughout the year: new product drops, seasonal collections, events, PR moments, collaborations, and the all-day dining launch.
You’ll oversee a lean but dynamic team covering Brand & Content, Performance Marketing, and Design, and work closely with the Founder and Operations teams to bring ideas to life — from strategy to execution.
This is a hands-on leadership role — ideal for someone who loves crafting both the big-picture brand narrative and the detailed execution plan that makes it happen.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and own the annual marketing strategy, aligning storytelling, growth, and business objectives.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire the marketing team across Brand, Performance, and Creative functions.
- Manage the marketing budget and optimize resource allocation across campaigns and channels.
- Report on key marketing KPIs including engagement, conversion, retention, and brand awareness.
- Collaborate with the Founder and leadership team to shape company direction, product strategy, and customer experience.
- Marketing Calendar & Campaign Management
- Oversee the full marketing calendar, ensuring a steady flow of strategic campaigns.
- Plan and execute integrated campaigns for product launches, seasonal events, partnerships, and dining experiences.
- Coordinate with internal teams (Product, Culinary, Retail, Operations) to align campaigns with business priorities.
- Track, analyze, and optimize campaign performance to maximize ROI and customer impact.
- Ensure all campaigns are distinctive, creative, and reflective of Mr. Bucket’s artisanal brand identity.
- Brand, Content & Community
- Own the brand voice, identity, and storytelling across all touchpoints — retail, packaging, digital, web, and dining.
- Lead creative direction for content production, visuals, and campaigns.
- Drive partnerships, PR outreach, and influencer collaborations to expand brand presence.
- Build and engage a community of loyal chocolate enthusiasts through meaningful experiences.
- Performance, Digital & CRM
- Oversee digital marketing and paid campaigns across social media, search, and e-commerce platforms.
- Implement CRM and retention programs including email, SMS, and loyalty initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and metrics to guide performance decisions and optimize customer lifetime value.
- Test, learn, and iterate strategies to continuously improve marketing ROI.
- Culture & Team Building
- Foster a marketing culture that is creative, data-informed, and collaborative.
- Inspire the team to act as brand storytellers, not just campaign executors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment from concept to execution.
- Represent marketing in leadership discussions, ensuring the customer perspective is always considered.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 7+ years of marketing experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in lifestyle brands.
- Strong strategic thinking, creative vision, and leadership capabilities.
- Experience with multi-channel marketing, digital campaigns, and brand building.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills.
