The Opportunity

The Job
We are looking for profiles for PMs (9 open positions) with domain and compliance expertise in banking (particularly KYC/AML).
More criteria below:
- Familiar with Compliance /AML/KYC process from onboarding, client monitoring and investigation.
- Done client life cycle management system implementation, compliance systems e.g., name screening, transaction monitoring and payment screening or workflow implementation
- Been through SDLC requirement gathering, functional design, testing and deployment
- Data design/implementation
- Involved in AI project e.g., fine tuning, creating models
- Lead and manage end-to-end AML/CFT IT projects, including model migration to the Model Analytics Platform (MAP).
- Data FBA: should have some technical capability to perform basic data mapping between systems.
Role 1: Cosmic PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects focusing on AML/CFT compliance within the organization;
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring proper documentation and communication at every stage;
- Manage the integration of AML/CFT software solutions (e.g., Workflow Plaform, transaction monitoring systems, screening tools) with existing banking or financial institution system;
- Work closely with IT teams to ensure systems meet regulatory requirements;
- Manage project governance and stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact between the technical teams and the business units;
- Oversee data migration, testing, and troubleshooting for AML/CFT data-related projects;
- Identify potential project risks related to AML/CFT system design, implementation, and maintenance;
- Oversee the testing phases of AML/CFT software to ensure functionality, accuracy, and performance;
- Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure effective feedback loops with end-users;
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and service providers to evaluate, select, and manage AML/CFT solutions;
- Provide post-implementation support, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and system updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- 10+ years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT systems related to financial compliance, risk management, or AML/CFT;
- Deep understanding of Anti Money Laundering (AML) investigation and Know Your Client (KYC) principles. Experience in AML/ CFT, Sanctions, Anti-Bribery & Corruption and Fraud in banking, insurance and/or asset management.
- Knowledge of the global regulatory environment and a strong understanding of expectations of regulators are preferred.
- Familiar with change management process and project management fundamentals
- Workflow Platform experience highly preferred. Compliance Technology platform experience is a bonus.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, problem solving and process design skills that can translate analysis into actions that meet business objectives
- Understanding of technology and operational processes across functions / departments in the bank/market
- Strong understanding of business strategies and ability to translate them into concrete achievable action plans
- Ability to collaborate, drive motivation across diverse team members and manage difficult conversations

Role 2: Data PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage IT projects focusing on AML/CFT compliance within the organization;
- Oversee the full project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring proper documentation and communication at every stage;
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the project, ensuring timely migration of the models from T4 playpen into Model Analytics Platform (MAP)
- Coordinate with stakeholders (e.g., Data Management Office, Group Compliance and Group Wholesale Banking) to ensure alignment of the scope, priorities, and success criteria of the model migration
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks (e.g., AI governance and data protection)
- Develop and manage project timelines and resource allocation across respective business units (BUs) and Technology team
- Manage project scope, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation
- Act as the primary point of contact between the technical teams and the business units;
- Oversee data migration, testing, and troubleshooting for AML/CFT data-related projects;
- Identify potential project risks related to AML/CFT system design, implementation, and maintenance;

- Proven experience in planning and executing large-scale data migration initiatives, including mapping, validation, reconciliation, and risk mitigation.
- Knowledge of BI/visualization tools such as Tableau, Qlik, or Power BI to support business insights and stakeholder reporting.
- Exposure to financial/regulatory reporting processes, ensuring compliance with local and global regulatory requirements.
- Understanding of BCBS 239 principles for risk data aggregation and reporting; ability to translate requirements into data management and reporting deliverables.
- Awareness of data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, PDPA) and cross-border data sharing restrictions; ability to manage projects ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
- Strong understanding of AML/CFT regulations and frameworks, including FATF, OFAC, and local regulatory bodies;
- Proven experience in managing large, complex IT projects in a financial institution or similar regulated environment;
- Strong project management skills, including proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA and others);
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders;
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations.
Role 3: AML/KYC and CLM Specialist - Project Manager
Key Responsibilities:
AML/KYC Risk Management & Remediation- Review and strengthen AML/KYC frameworks, processes, and controls to align with regulatory expectations and internal risk standards
- Support bank-wide remediation initiatives
- Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans in response to regulatory developments or internal policy changes, and prepare the relevant materials for presentation and endorsement at senior management governance forums
- Regulatory Deliverables & Governance Reporting
- Coordinate and prepare responses to regulatory queries, internal audits, and external audit reviews, ensuring timely and accurate responses
- Develop and deliver high-quality materials for governance forums and stakeholder meetings
- Present key updates to senior management, highlighting risks, issues, and dependencies, and advising on appropriate mitigation strategies
- Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Engage regularly with teams across the First Line (1LOD) and Second Line of Defense (2LOD) to support AML/KYC initiatives
- Drive alignment and consensus on remediation actions across business units and control functions
In essence, the roles need AML/KYC domain expertise, ability to structure around frameworks (i.e. ideally some consulting or at least internal bank change background), ability to present to senior stakeholders. Note that these are considered "BAU" roles in the bank so it's more on the BAU side, less on the Consulting experience side, i.e. domain expertise is more important.
