Assistant Project Manager

Job Description & Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress, manage and update master program.
• Prepare and submit progress claims, VOs.
• Liaise with site staff, supervisors, foremen, and suppliers.
• Apply mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge to address project challenges.
• Review and approve technical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
• Provide regular project updates, addressing any concerns or changes promptly.
• Foster positive relationships to enhance client satisfaction and project success.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to uphold quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• > 3 years experience as a Assistant Project Manager, with a focus on both mechanical and electrical projects.
• Strong technical background with the ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficient in project management tools and software.
• Singaporean/PR
