Job Purpose:
- Responsible for planning and delivering quality, student-centered instruction for learners with special needs, supporting their academic, social and functional development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver individualized and group instructional programs for students with special needs
- Adapt teaching strategies and materials to meet diverse learning and developmental needs
- Create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment
- Monitor, assess and document students' progress and development
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers and multidisciplinary professionals to support students' holistic growth
Job Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree or equivalent
- Candidates with recognized Diploma in Special Education, Diploma / Degree in Education or Post Graduate Diploma in Education is a MUST.
- Prior experience with Students with Mid Intellectual Disabilities (MID) is preferred
- Prior experience handling Numeracy/ Literacy, Physical Education, WPLN, Science, HSR, SEL/ CCE and Vocational Guidance is an added advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
