Field Service Technician

Job Description
- Investigate and resolve customer reports of technical issues with equipment, and eliminate future operational or service difficulties for customer.
- Install and/or repair new or modified equipment according to specifications at customer facilities in a timely manner to ensure full functionality.
- Conduct training for customers on the safe operations of equipment, maintenance, and parts ordering and provide contact information for service team for future service needs and parts needs.
- Process spare part order, promote maintenance contracts.
- Diploma/Technical Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in field service of machinery in food processing and/or food packaging industry.
- Profound knowledge in mechanics, electrics.
- Possess a class 3 driving license/owns a car.
- Bilingual in English/Mandarin/Malay
- High integrity and positive attitude.
- Possess excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, proactive, assertive and creative.
- Willing to travel in Europe/Asia.
- Shows initiative and is meticulous in work.
- Good organising and planning skills.
