Safety Officer / Supervisor (Industrial Settings) - Yishun

Position:

• EHS Officer (A)
• EHS Supervisor (B)

• Salary: $3,500 – $5,500
• Working Time: 5 Days Mon-Fri - Office Hour
• Location: Kranji (able to travel to Hougang when needed, transportation expenses is fully claimable)
• Benefits: Yearly Bonus

Job Scope:

• Monitor daily workplace practices to verify adherence to safety and environmental rules.
• Recommend process improvements to reduce operational risks and increase safety standards.
• Support incident documentation, assist in follow-ups, and suggest practical changes to avoid recurrence.
• Advise team leads on best practices and provide guidance on compliance requirements.
• Conduct routine facility checks (e.g., fire systems, access control, hazardous areas).
• Prepare internal reports highlighting safety gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Regularly review and refresh policies based on observations and operational shifts.

• Take charge of site-wide safety operations and ensure alignment with national WSH frameworks.
• Identify job hazards and environmental exposure through structured analysis and evaluations.
• Drive root-cause investigations for workplace incidents, and introduce strong mitigation plans.
• Keep safety data sheets updated and accessible to relevant work areas.
• Run onboarding briefings, hands-on drills, and targeted workshops to build safety awareness.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, vendors, and regulators to manage compliance matters.
• Maintain clear audit trails, permits, and internal documentation on all EHS actions.
• Enforce use of protective equipment and lead response protocols for emergencies.

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma or Degree in Workplace Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or a relevant discipline.
• Holds recognised safety credentials such as the WSQ Advanced Certificate in WSH, NEBOSH, or similar certifications.
• ISO 45001 certification is added advantage.
