Communications & Digital Media Executive - Toa Payoh
The Motion Picture Association is a non-profit trade association serving as the premiere global voice and advocate of the major international producers and distributors of movies, television programming and streaming. On behalf of the MPA member companies, we work with local industry partners and government (at all levels) to support initiatives that strengthen the film, television and streaming industry in the Asia-Pacific region.
We’re looking for a Communications and Digital Media Executive to join our Singapore team. This role reports to the Director of Events and Digital Media and will provide support across digital communications & content creation, media relations, and events.
What You’ll Do- Ensure integrated messaging and support for all public affairs initiatives, internally and externally, and across MPA-APAC’s online platforms.
- Draft and edit communications materials (press releases, media kits, video clips, social copy, presentations, backgrounders, talking points, FAQs, briefing notes etc.).
- Manage and update social media platforms and website content.
- Assist with events, meetings, and digital asset management.
- Produce creatives (graphics, data visualisation, infographics, illustrations) to support campaigns.
- Support media outreach, monitoring, and reporting.
- Administrative duties, data management, internal and external reporting on MPA-APAC activities, events, initiatives, and matters of interest to global MPA colleagues and members.
- 1-5 years’ experience in communications, Public Relations, social media, or related fields.
- Confident communicator who can engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- A self-starter with creativity, attention to detail, and great teamwork.
- Forward-thinking and proactive, with the ability to anticipate opportunities and challenges.
- Curious and creative, always seeking new ideas and approaches to strengthen communications impact.
- Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Advanced proficiency in visual storytelling and standout design skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic Adobe Creative Suite as well as emerging tools such as Canva, and social media analytics.
Bonus skills: website management, knowledge of Asian languages, enthusiasm for creative industries.
