We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing all aspects of the organization's financial operations, ensuring financial stability and growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop and manage annual budgets and monthly cash flow projections. Conduct monthly financial analysis, prepare reports, and provide insights to management. Oversee investments, monitor investment portfolios, and prepare relevant reports.
  • Financial Operations: Manage all aspects of accounts payable and receivable. Oversee banking operations, including account opening/closing, signatory management, Board resolutions and bank reconciliations. Manage trust accounts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Contract & Procurement Management: Oversee all procurement processes, including contract negotiation, vendor management, and purchase orders.
  • Asset Management: Manage the organization's fixed assets, including tracking, depreciation, and disposal.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards. Manage audit functions, including internal and external audits. Oversee the management of donations.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly and annual financial statements. Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required.
  • Administrative Support: Schedule and coordinate key meetings. Prepare and distribute meeting minutes. Provide administrative support to the Finance Head as needed.
  • Participation in HEB Corporate and temple events: To carry out duties as assigned
  • Adhoc tasks: As assigned by Finance head and CEO

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract/ procurement management, fixed asset management, and financial governance.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
  • Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards and Charity Standards (preferred).
  • Knowledge of various financial, GST, and audit processes.
  • Able to converse in Tamil with the temple admin staffs and be willing to do work related site visits in the 4 temples managed by the Hindu Endowments Board.
