Senior Mechanical Engineer (ACMV)

Salary: S$5,000 - S$6,500

Our client, a leading SME construction company, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (ACMV) with relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering within the construction industry. You will be expected to perform site execution and material management for ACMV works for the Integrated Waste Management Facility (IWMF) project in Tuas.

This position reports to the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager.

• Oversee and manage site installation works for ACMV systems, including ducting, piping, and equipment
• Plan, prepare, and manage material requisitions in accordance with project specifications and schedule
• Coordinate with procurement, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of materials
• Supervise site activities and ensure works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings and method statements
• Liaise with the main contractor, consultants, and other trades for coordination and progress of works
• Monitor project progress, manpower deployment, and site productivity
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and technical documentation
• Resolve site technical issues and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
• Assist in testing and commissioning of ACMV systems
• Prepare progress reports and support project documentation

• Company transportation at designated MRT station (7:15 am and 7:30 am & 5:30 pm and after)

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• At least 7 years of Mechanical Engineering experience within the construction industry, with a strong focus on ACMV and large-scale infrastructure/industrial projects
• Strong knowledge of ACMV systems, including ducting, chilled water systems, and ventilation systems
• Experience in material requisition, procurement coordination, and project planning
• Willing to work in the Tuas area (transportation will be provided from a designated MRT station)
• Ability to work on weekends or outside business hours when required
• Able to join with 1-2 months' notice or a short period
